I have recently decided to take up AVON, I just have to complete the sign up papers and I will be on my way to earning a little extra cash….That I am sure I will spend on scrap booking supplies. It also should be great towards christmas and helping to find those stocking fillers or gifts for hard to buy for people.

Recently I started a facebook group for local mothers called “Kempsey Mothers Group” as part of this group I have added a Mummy Of The Month - which is once a month a mother will be selected from our members and honored, for this I will be digitally scrapbooking a layout for her of either her children or her personally and post it up on the group page.
Our first Mummy Of the Month was - Emma Everson and here is the layout of her adorable children. I did the layout using http://www.scrapblog.com

I thought this was cute so had to share, My little girl Maddison who has just turned 2 has taken a shining to Elmo. We spotted his doll in a store and it talks and laughs and says I love you and she thought it was just great and kept asking for the buttons to be pushed.
Then the other day Maddison was watching Sesame street but instead of saying “ELMO” she says “EMO” and it stuck imediately in my head, I had images of an Emo Elmo all dressed in black and sad looking…I think its pretty funny and it still gives me a chuckle.

I know I am totally late…I can not believe I missed the 2nd ever Digitial Scrapbooking Day, It was on November 1st 2008. I have literally only just heard of it and of all the “DAYS” I would have celebrated this one with bells on.
Any way after looking over what some people did to celebrate I came across a couple of things that I thought where just so awesome I had to share….and they really are great for any time of the year and any day.
The first was a facebook add on for “Flair” button - DSD Flair Button. Being addicted to facebook myself and already having a flair collection I had to add the DSD flair to my collection. This I found on http://www.digitalscrapbookingday.com/
Â

The second and by far the most cool “Digital Sneekers” yep you heard me right Digital Sneakers…
Footwear you can design yourself. You can have any patern, picture, photo, colour. I found these on the digital scrapbooking day site, but they are created by http://www.zazzle.com/ who also do aprons, shirts, hats, posters, mugs, skate boards, bags, stickers and ties. They have other things I am sure, but all can be completely customized by you…and that is so cool and opens up so many possibilities for gifts, treasures and just digital scrapbooking fun.
Here is a design I was fiddling with today - size 9 Ladies Shoe

Â
(cost about $60 us) - yes alot but sometimes you have to splurge and come on its completely your design. In this case I chose a pink colour, and some digital scrapbooking paper I liked and my daughter Maddison’s photo..walla wearable art that I would treasure….now I just have to tell Santa what I want this year.

Well I have finally done it www.saphirecameo.com has finally been redesigned, with lots of thanks to www.topwpthemes.com and my husband.
As such this site will now host my blog, which will be centered around day to day life as a mum and my obession with scrap booking and other online activitives. It’s all for a bit of fun and to just share a little bit about myself.
I am so in love with the new layout it is so bright and cheerful, it is called “Rainbow Garden” and is just sexy. Well it is getting late as I spent all night trying to find a theme I liked, so this will be the end of my first blog. But thank you all for stopping by hopefully I will have more for you to read tomorrow. As well as some digital scrapbook layouts I have been working on.
